The recently discovered OpenSSL "Heartbleed" security issue has been patched on all our servers. If you are using a Thawte certificate, a new certificate will automatically be issued within the next two weeks.

A fault on the European Indian Gateway cable system off the coast of Portugal has caused a problem on the SAT3 cable, necessitating a traffic diversion to the SEACOM cable, which has become overloaded. Stabilisation of African and European network traffic is expected by 18:00 today, but repairs to the original cable fault are only expected to be completed by Sunday, 1 July 2012.
